Vijay has joined hands with director Vamshi Paidipally, and the film is tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 66'. After a minor schedule in Chennai, the team headed to Hyderabad for the major schedule. Recently, Vijay has interacted with his friend's family through a video call and the actor had made a video call from the 'Thalapathy 66' shooting shot. Therefore he was seen in his film look and the screenshot from the video call has been going viral on social media. 'Thalapathy 66' is reported to be an emotional family drama filled with romance, comedy, emotion, and action, and the film is slated to release in Pongal 2023. Rashmika Mandanna plays the leading lady, while Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha Kapoor, Prabhu, and Shaam have been roped in to play crucial roles. Thaman is scoring the music for the film, and he has already completed scoring a few songs for the film. After the Hyderabad schedule, the 'Thalapathy 66' team will be again coming to Chennai for the next set of shooting, and a huge set has been erected for the film shoot.
