In light of the recent happenings, actor Sreenath Bhasi has reportedly applied for a membership in the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) despite having no or lack of support from the film associations. According to the reports, Sreenath Bhasi visited the AMMA’s office and submitted an application which will be only accepted after further approval as per the rules of the association. Sreenath Bhasi applied for membership considering the rule of including the AMMA registration number in contracts with the producers. Meanwhile, on the last day, the Kerala Culture Minister Saji Cherian backed the decision of the film producers in banning Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi.
