R Madhavan opens up about his battle with COVID-19, reveals his mother has also contracted coronavirus

As the nation is once again witnessing the surge in the COVID-19 cases, many celebrities from the B-Town are also found positive for the deadly virus in the recent few days. Among those celebs who were diagnosed with novel coronavirus was actor R Madhavan. Now, her mother is also tested positive. The actor in a conversation with an entertainment portal spoke about the same and said, 'As of now I’m feeling fine. But my mother has also contracted Covid. We are locked away in different rooms in the house. After my mother was detected we packed away my father to a hotel and safety until my mother and I are quarantined.' He further revealed that fortunately, his wife and son are not in the country as he said, 'They are in Dubai from before this new wave of Covid hit us. So they are relatively safe. I don’t know what I would have done if I had to protect my son from Covid in Mumbai. There really doesn’t seem to be any way of keeping your loved ones from this virus. It seems to have taken over our lives.'
