The biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been making headlines for quite a long time now. And now, according to reports, an activist has filed a plea against the Vivek Oberoi starrer questioning the timing of the release. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres on April 12 but was later preponed to April 5. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has also issued notice to the makers of the film, after it felt that the film violated the model code of conduct. Directed by Omung Kumar, the film highlights the journey of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his humble beginnings to rise as the Prime Minister of the country.
