Naseeruddin Shah receives Aditya Vikram Birla Kalashikhar Puraskar

Veteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah was recently honoured with the Aditya Vikram Birla Kalashikhar Puraskar at Sangit Kala Kendra Awards, alongside, two emerging theatre artists, Neel Choudhary and Irawati Karnik. The ceremony took place virtually and was graced by Mr Kumar Mangalam Birla, Mrs Neerja Birla, and the extended Aditya Birla family. In her speech Rajashree Birla, President, Sangit Kala Kendra, said, 'Theatre is the central theme, for this year's awards, and Mr. Naseeruddin Shah was among our favourite actors, whom we have watched in theatres and on-screen'. She further added, 'The films and the theatre roles, still keep rolling and we see him do the most challenging roles with amazing ease, getting into the skin of the character.
