Govinda calls out nephew Krushna Abhishek for 'spoiling his image' as he opens up on his public fallout with the latter

The fallout between actor Govinda and his nephew-actor Krushna Abhishek came out in public after Krushna refused to participate in an episode of the TV show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' that featured Govinda as a guest. After this, both the actors often spoke about their strained relationship on the public platform. Recently, Govinda opened up on the same in an interview and called out Krushna for spoiling his image by speaking against him in public. Also, while calling Krushna, a 'good boy' he said someone is instigating his nephew to go against him. He said, 'I really don't know who is making him do it, otherwise, he is a good boy. Not only does he make fun but by doing it, he is spoiling my image. Whoever is behind it, we are seeing him do it. See, I have been a victim of nepotism and it was around the time I stopped getting work. I saw Amitabh Bachchan struggle too; he would come on stage and people from the industry would walk away. Don’t know if I got punished for supporting him. They set him free but caught me instead'. Voicing his reservations, in one of his interviews, Krushna had said, 'I learnt about Chi Chi mama coming on the show around 10 days ago. Since Sunita mami wasn’t accompanying him, the team thought that I would have no qualms performing. However, the incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Last year, she didn’t want me to perform in front of them, but this time, I had reservations.' He further said, 'I had a strong relationship with mama, and the enmity has affected me badly.' Post Krushna's interview, Govinda also reacted to his statement and said, 'I am utterly sad to talk about this in public, but it is high time that the truth comes out'.
