FWICE protests against hospital after Rishi Kapoor’s video from ICU as he fought for life leaks online

These past few days have been rough on all of us as we mourn the deaths of actors extraordinaires, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. But one should also remember that our loss is nothing compared to the humongous personal loss their families are going through at the time. What’s quite alarming is how hours into Kapoor’s death, a few insensitive netizens started sharing a leaked video of his, as he fought for life in his last hours in the ICU. This has enraged many people, including celebs like Mini Mathur, Kushal Tandon, Karan Wahi and more. Now, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) is protesting against the hospital where the veteran star was admitted. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit shared a copy of the letter along with the caption, ‘The video is unethical -without permission &violates fundamental right to live with dignity-privacy of a legend who lived a glorious life.’ Without mentioning any specific video, Arjun Kapoor, too, criticised those sharing the images and videos.
