Aryan Khan drugs case: Ananya Panday skips Day 3 of NCB questioning; here's the reason

Actress Ananya Panday was called in for questioning for the third time by the Narcotics Control Bureau officials on October 25 in connection with the agency's ongoing cruise drug case probe. However, the actress skipped the summons today due to some personal commitments and requested the agency to issue her fresh summons for some other date. Ananya came under NCB's scanner due to her chats with Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryna Khan. Ananya Panday, actor Chunky Panday’s daughter, was grilled by the NCB officials continuously for 4 hours on the second day of interrogation. During the interrogation Ananya was quizzed about her role in procuring or arranging contraband drugs for Aryan Khan and also regarding the suspected peddlers in the case. According to NCB sources, in the year 2018-19, Ananya gave Aryan contact details of some drug peddlers, however the actress has been denying it. This information has reportedly been recovered from Aryan's Whatsapp chats with Ananya. According to a news agency Ananya was also questioned regarding some ‘suspicious financial transactions’ in connection with the alleged WhatsApp chats with Aryan. According to reports, NCB had confiscated Ananya's laptop and 2 mobile phones during the raid at her house and is now working on retrieving some deleted data from them. Yes, you heard that right, the anti-drugs agency suspects that Ananya has deleted some data and believes that the information might be crucial for the probe. Meanwhile, coming back to Aryan Khan, the star kid is currently lodged in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail. His lawyers on October 20 moved the Bombay HC after a special court rejected Aryan's bail application while making a note that he was indulging in 'illicit drug activities on a regular basis'. The HC will now hear his bail plea on October 26.
