Trombone player Jonas Green, a lifelong New Orleans resident, emphasized the importance of bringing music back to Bourbon Street as a symbol of resilience. The FBI disclosed that the attacker, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, acted alone. Before the attack, Jabbar had posted videos online pledging support for the Islamic State group.
