Unseen pics from Diya Aur Bati Hum actor Anas Rashid's wedding and reception

Diya Aur Baati Hum's Sooraj aka Anas Rashid got married to Heena Iqbal on September 9, and the picture of their wedding started doing the rounds on social media. The actor shared a few photographs from the wedding album on his Instagram, and we must say that they had a dreamy wedding. Anas got engaged earlier this year in April. The groom had earlier told The Times Of India the he now feels content and complete.

Anas, who hails from Malerkotla in Punjab, had the wedding ceremony at his residence in his hometown.

Anas looked dapper in off white sherwani and turban, while Heena made a beautiful bride in pink and blue lehenga.

Earlier, the actor had just posted pics from their pre-wedding rituals, and these are the first photos from their wedding ceremony.

The newlywed couple obliged the media by posing for them together post the wedding rituals.

Anas' wife, Heena Iqbal, is a corporate professional from Chandigarh. Heena is 14 years younger to the 38-year-old telly actor.

Their Dawaat-e-walima (reception) was on September 10.

When asked why he opted for an arranged marriage, Anas had said, "I had complete faith on my parents' choice. Also, I felt that I was ready to take on the responsibilities associated with an arranged marriage."

The couple will soon leave for their honeymoon. The actor has left it up to Henna to decide their honeymoon location. He told The Times Of India, "We haven't planned anything yet. Heena knows more about this than me and I trust her choice. She knows my taste and we will zero in on a destination keeping both our choices in mind."
