SPB lives on: Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Chinmayi Sripada and others celebs mourn the demise of legendary singer

The demise of iconic playback singer SP Balasubramanyam (74) this noon at a private hospital in Chennai due to prolonged illness and cardio-respiratory arrest has indeed left the entire country mourning.

Telugu television celebs have joined the music and film fraternities in expressing their grief and offer condolences.

Telugu superstar-Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 4 host Chiranjeevi has taken to his Twitter handle to convey his condolences. Sharing a heart-felt note, Chiranjeevi wrote, "Heartbroken!! RIP SP Balu garu."

Actor-producer-Bigg Boss Telugu host Nagarjuna Akkineni also took to Twitter to express his feelings on SPB's demise.

He tweeted: As the memories and conversations with Balu Garu come flooding back so do the tears... I still remember the call I got from him after my film AnnamayyaFolded handsHe was such a unsaid integrable part of my life… దాచుకో స్వామి మా బాలుని జాగ్రత్తగా దాచుకో !

The popular playback singer who judged the Telugu music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2018 took to her Twitter and wrote, "Oru Sahabdham samaptam.

Thank you for the memories. Thank you for showing that a singer can be a fantastic singer, act, voice act, produce, compose & more. You lived and how! Your art will live for aeons and I’ll always celebrate you. (sic)"

The popular singer and one of the proteges of SPB, who has been praying for a 'miracle' from the moment his health deteriorated yesterday, shared a picture of SPB in her Instagram story and wrote, "We will miss you a lot sir. REST IN PEACE. You are a fighter"

Singer-composer and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu judge Karthik took to his Instagram handle to share a lengthy note in which she shared his grief. "The void that this incredible man's demise leaves behind cannot be filled by anyone. SPB sir, I have watched you in awe every time I got to work with you. You were simply the best #RIPSPB sir (sic)," read his Instagram post.

Offering her condolences in one of her recent Instagram stories, BB Telugu 3 runner up and TV host Sreemukhi wrote, "His voice will live on! RIP sir!"

Tv host-turned-actress Niharika Konidela, who condoled SPB's demise in her recent Instagram story, shared that there is not a single day of hers which passes without listening to his songs.

"There is not a single day of mine that goes by without listening to at least one of your songs. irreplaceable loss. disheartened. my deepest condolences to balu garu's family (sic).

BB Telugu 2 winner Kaushal Manda shared a picture of SPB and wrote, "We love you & Miss you SP.Balu sir"

Sharing her feelings on SPB's demise, actress Vithika Sheru of BB Telugu 3 fame wrote on Instagram, "Mery eka leru anedi nammalekapothunnam sir, you will be there in our hearts forever and ever. Our gaana gandharvudu lives on" with a crying face and broken heart emoticons.

Actress-singer-TV host Hariteja, who got closer to the telly audience with Bigg Boss Telugu season 1, wrote on her Instagram, "Janmake laaali.. paata ke laaali.."

Nuvvu Ready Nenu Ready host Vindhya Medapati shared a picture with SPB on her Instagram handle and wrote, "This year is turning out to be Painful and depressing every passing day. RIP SPB Garu. Your Voice will live with us forever"
