In the latest episode of
Karthika Deepam
, Murali Krishna visits Soundarya and Anand Rao late at night. He shares his fears about
Deepa and Karthik’s married life. He reminds Soundarya that
Karthik has humiliated Deepa many-a-time in the past. He suspects that Karthika might harass Deepa or even kill her in a fit of rage.
Soundarya gets angry at him. She orders Murali Krishna and Anand Rao to come along with her. She takes them to Deepa’s house and they watch the couple through the window.
While Deepa coughs profusely, Karthik gives her medicine. Soundarya, Anand Rao and Murali Krishna witness this and feel happy. Murali Krishna apologizes for suspecting Karthik. Anand Rao and Murali Krishna celebrate the moment.
Karthik tells Deepa that he gave her medicine just on humanitarian grounds. He further asks her not to assume that he loves her.
Next morning, Murali Krishna feels elated that he saw a remarkable change in Karthik. Bhagyam taunts him about the same.
Soundarya reprimands Adithya for forgetting Shravya’s monthly check-up. She further assures to take her for checkup adding that it might help Shravya and Bhagyam believe that she treats both her daughter-in-laws (Deepa and Shravya) the same way. Deepa calls Soundarya asking her to meet immediately. While Soundarya struggles to say ‘NO’, Anand Rao grabs the mobile and tells Deepa not to bother Soundarya too often. Deepa is taken aback by Anand Rao’s reaction.
Elsewhere, Deepa drops a packet of cereals from her bag.
Venkat alias
Durga
stops by and gives her the packet. Karthik notices this from a distance. Deepa addresses Venkat as ‘Durga’. He denies knowing anyone by that name and leaves. Venkat’s reaction leaves Karthik and Deepa puzzled.
