Covid-19 lockdown: From BB Telugu 3 to CID, reruns of these popular Telugu shows to up the entertainment quotient

Telugu television is finding ways to cope up with the 21-day lockdown amid Covid-19 lockdown. Since the industry is shut down and without episode banking, TV channels are forced to rerun some of their popular TV shows. Here’s a quick look at the TV shows that will entertain fans with a rerun.

Bigg Boss Telugu season 3’s rerun is on-air from today (March 30). The third season hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni was reportedly the best performer in terms of TVRs for the reality TV series in Telugu. Playback singer-indie musician Rahul Sipligunj was crowned the winner while ace host Sreemukhi emerged as the first runner-up of the show.

The popular show hosted by Anasuya Bharadwaj will rerun from tonight (March 30). The game show has invited the who’s who of the Telugu entertainment industry who had a gala time with host Anasuya playing some exciting games.

The Telugu version of the popular Hindi crime fiction suspense thriller series featuring Shivaji Satam, Aditya Srivatsava and others is also set for a rerun from tonight (March 30). The Telugu dubbed version of the show is equally popular amongst Telugu telly audience. The show recently went off-air due to the introduction of new fiction shows but the lockdown has brought back audiences’ favourite CID on-screen.

The show which aims to show fans a day in their favourite celebrity’s life is hosted by Hariteja. The show was Hariteja’s notable work after her Bigg Boss stint in season 1. Unlike other chat shows, Hariteja visited her guests at their respective homes and her fun banter with them kept the show apart. From Rakul Preet Singh to Lakshmi Manchu, Fidaa knocked on the doors of many celebrities. Fida is all set for a rerun from March 31 (Tuesday).

The first successful season of the Kabaddi league featuring over 60 female TV celebrities will soon be back to entertain fans. The channel airing the show is currently airing the latest season of the series hosted by Sreemukhi. However, the 21-day lockdown has forced the channel to air the previous seasons as well.

The celebrity dance reality show was one of the successful shows hosted by Anasuya Bharadwaj in recent times. The show judged by Roja and Raghu Master has given stiff competition to its rival shows and performed well on the TRP charts for a long time. The channel has scheduled the rerun of this show on every Thursday and Friday.
