Bigg Boss Telugu 6: From Keerthi Keshav's emotional breakdown, poor TRP performance of premiere to Rajsekhar emerging as the star of the week, here's what happened in week 2

From some major emotional revelations, petty fights, tit for tat to surprising performances yet poor TRP performance, the second week in Nagarjuna hosted Bigg Boss Telugu season 9 has been quite eventful. Here's a quick recap of week 2 in the BB house.

It has to unarguably be Rajsekhar. He was one of the most underrated contestants who was not even in the radar in the first week. Host Nagarjuna encouraged him to pull his socks for the competition gets tougher with each passing day. The captaincy task in the second week was indeed the turning point for this super model. He managed to become one of the four captaincy contenders and eventually the captain of the house with the support of the housemates. He gained the trust of his inmates, attention of the viewers and even immunity for the next week within no time.

Srihan and Sri Satya managed to grab attention in the second week. While Srihan turned heads with his mid-night theft during the captaincy task, Sri Satya opened up and made some emotional revelations during the task. Both Srihan and Sri Satya went on to bag Best Actor and Best Actress awards respectively in the recent episode featuring Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty as the special guests.

The second captaincy task in Bigg Boss Telugu season 6 failed to impress fans on social media. The 'Sisindri' task was all about the contestants having to take care of baby dolls and complete timely tasks given to them. A majority of users on Twitter, who found the task insipid or expected a more interesting one, criticised the makers for their scheme of tasks in the house. They expressed their disappointment in the comments section.

The second captaincy task has witnessed some major thefts as well. Geetu, who has been craving to steal baby dolls since morning, accomplished her mission at midnight. Srihan also joined her in stealing the dolls of contestants and dropping them in the lost and found area. Neither Srihan nor Geetu become captaincy contenders though.

This week has witnessed an interesting contest between Revanth and Geetu. Revanth could finally give Geetu tit for tat for snatching his doll and dropping it in the lost and found area, which killed his hopes of becoming a captain this week. The next day he found Geetu's baby doll hidden in the store room and deposited it in the lost and found area. Srihan also taunted Geetu for her lost doll.

For the unversed, Geetu has earlier dropped Revanth's doll in the area and the latter got disqualified from the captaincy race. Geetu and Srihan have been on a mission to snatch their opponents' dolls and drop them in the lost and found area. Geetu was quite vocal about her strategy to snatch the dolls of others. However, she couldn't safeguard her doll.

Bigg Boss Telugu season 6 hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni, which was launched on September 4 (Sunday), reportedly recorded one of the lowest opening TVRs in the history of the TV series in Telugu, if the latest TRP report is anything to go by. The first week's average TVR for this season failed to surpass the bar set by its predecessors, too.

As a part of the task, many contestants made some major emotional revelations in the episode. Sudeepa, Chanti, Rohit-Marina, Sri Satya, Adi Reddy and Keerthi shared their respective stories. The episode witnessed Sudeepa, Chanti and Sri Satya opening about the most painful memories in their lives for the first time. Keerthi's story of losing her family and adopted daughter has left everyone with a heavy heart.

Famed actors Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty graced the show to promote their upcoming release. The guests conducted an acting test for the housemates. The contestants had to perform sketches based on various situations given by the guests. They performed in groups and eventually Sri Satya bagged the 'Best Actress' award while Srihan won the 'Best Actor' award.

Shaani Salmon, Abhinaya Sri and Vasanthi Krishnan, who are yet to pronounce their presence in the BB house, unarguably have to be the duds of the week. They have got along well with their inmates and haven't had major issues, fights or even arguments with any of the inmates so far, going by the footage aired in the show so far. The trio don't have major accomplishments in the tasks either.
