Bigg Boss Telugu 3: Highlights of Ravikrishna’s journey in the house

TV actor Ravikrishna of That is Mahalakshmi fame has successfully managed to turn heads with his Bigg Boss stint this season. He stepped into the house as one of the most underrated contestants but his performance on the show didn’t go unnoticed. He got eliminated from the show on September 29 and here’s a quick look at the highlights of his 70-day journey in the house.

During the initial days in the BB house, Ravikrishna grabbed attention for the wrong reason. He made a racist remark on Mahesh as a part of the task. However, he didn’t hesitate to apologise to Mahesh almost instantly and even in the subsequent weekend episode.

Ravikrishna shot to fame with his dispute with transgender contestant Tamanna Simhadri. Their conflict regarding a nomination quickly escalated into a major fight and Tamanna launched a personal attack on him. Irrespective of her inappropriate behaviour, Ravikrishna chose to be patient throughout the episode. The patience and maturity that he displayed was widely appreciated.

Ravikrishna got his hand injured when he tried to break open the glass as a part of the task. However, his plan backfired and he received flak from housemates and fans alike for his ambitious move.

Equations in the BB house change overnight and there can’t be a better example than Ravikrishna and Vithika. While they shared a great bond for a very long time until it took a wrong turn in one of the Dongaludochina Nagari task. They were at loggerheads regarding each other’s performance in the task which continued even until his last day in the house. Even in the post eviction discussion, Ravi said she was not genuine and that he was unhappy with Vithika’s back talking.

Ravikrishna was evidently not happy with Punarnavi’s behaviour or game in the show. He was clearly unhappy with her comments on his equation with Siva Jyothi. And he mentioned in the post elimination discussion, he doesn’t like the way she treats inmates who nominate her for eviction.

While Rohini and Ali Reza are friends from quite some time, Ravi made some new friends for life time in the house. He got close to Siva Jyothi in the house and he spent the last days in the house with her. They share sibling bond and he feels blessed to have Jyothi in his life.

He admires Baba Bhaskar a lot and also calls him ‘pappa’. But an unexpected turning point in the show came for Ravi when Baba saved him from nominations when he was the captain of the house. This decision of Baba indeed took other inmates by surprise and increased the life span in this house.

So, he didn’t hesitate to sacrifice his shoes for Baba to save him from elimination.

Ravikrishna had to exit the house without becoming the captain. He strived to win the captaincy task with the support of the housemates but Vithika ruined his chances of becoming the captain.
