Host Nagarjuna Akkineni turned 60 on August 29. The actor-producer-TV host celebrated his special day with his family in Spain. On the occasion, the versatile actor treated himself with a new tattoo too. Now when it's none other than Nagarjuna, it has to be special. Curious? The actor, who defies age, left no stone unturned to make his birthday a special one. He gives it an innovative twist by getting inked with a tattoo that reflects his ideology.

Nagarjuna is someone who believes that happiness lies in the head and his tattoo reflects this motto so well.

The tattoo on his left arm has letter ‘N’ at the apex which stands for his name (Nagarjuna) and also earth’s true North that is adeptly carved around it.

The eye at the heart of the compass metaphorically stands for the third yen which denotes his yen for knowledge, innovation and excellence.

The design is incomplete without a gigantic snake towards the bottom shedding its scales. It denotes his practice of shedding unwanted baggage in real life.

Savio D’Silva, the artist behind the intricate tattoo, is an ardent fan of Nagarjuna Akkienni. He took to his Instagram to share his excitement over tattooing his favourite actor.

Besides, Nag also has the Bigg Boss eye inked on the dorsal side of his left palm and an ‘Om’ carved in the middle of a sun on his right shoulder as well. He had to cover his tattoo throughout the shoot of Om Namo Venkatesaya, one of his popular devotional movies.

Nagarjuna revealed his new tattoo to the viewers and fans upon the request of former BB host Nani, who graced the show on September 8. Before signing off, Nani disclosed to the housemates that Nagarjuna got a new tattoo and got the latter talking about it.
