'Siragadikka Aasai' written update, February 21: Meena and Neethu at odds, Emotional showdowns grip the family

In the February 21 episode of ‘Siragadikka Aasai’, Chandra tries hard to make Meena understand the point but she tersely rejects the topic at hand. Not knowing what transpired, Chandra went up to Seetha to corroborate what they’d discussed. Seetha lies that Meena only changed after getting money and Meena also believes her lies without overthinking it. This misunderstanding forms a basis for many conflicts in the family.

Muthu’s revelation and family reactions

Shortly after, Muthu enters, keen to inform Meena and the rest of the family about the new car he just bought for them. While the rest of the family members wonder exactly why Vijay is acting the way he is, Annamalai shows very little or no concern about the issue while also mentioning that his concern only arises if Selvam fails to pay back the money. This shows the struggle between the characters and the family's peace, as seen in the rest of the day’s episode.

Vijaya’s jealousy and the award incident

The saga continues when Vijaya goes to Parvathi’s residence to enquire about Parvathi showing up at the award ceremony recently. Parvathi displays the prize and reveals that she won Rs 1 Lakh from a schoolteacher to educate her students about a narrative. Vijaya is visibly aggrieved and asks out loud if anyone is content. Right then, Sindamani enters, congratulates Parvathi, and tells the family that they are well prepared for the forthcoming pooja. Ravi intervenes and says that he and Shruthi can attempt to resolve Neethu’s problems themselves, indicating that the fight may soon reach its limits.

Shruthi confronts Meena and Neethu’s complications

In the meantime, Shruthi is at the hotel, where she meets Meena, who reveals that Vijay invited her to the house for the pooja. Shruthi keeps insisting on following Ravi’s advice. She wails about all she has done for the hotel business and how everything she did was for Neethu's good. Shruthi warns that if nothing is done to help Neethu by a certain date, she will go to court and file for divorce. Vijaya and Sindamani come to discuss matters with Neethu at her house. Shruthi is still insisting on a solution to this problem, as we wait to see what Neetu has planned and where that will lead in the forthcoming episodes.
