Actor Ranjith, who is known for his films like Pandavar Boomi, Nesam Puthusu and Beeshmar, is making his television debut with this.
According to the story, Ranjith portrays the role of Duraisingam, a middle-aged (45) widower who has a respectable family background. He is blessed with two beautiful little daughters
Kayal
and Kanimozhi. Post the death of his wife
Aruna,
Duraisingam
doesn’t think about re-marriage in his life.
Eventually, Duraisingam happens to marry Roja (Sreenithi), due to compulsions from his mom and other family members. Roja, who is in her mid 20’s is the school teacher of Duraisingam’s daughters Kayal and Kanimozhi.
Despite a big age difference between them, Duraisingam and Roja become a couple under unavoidable circumstances. What happens in their life post marriage, whether the couple falls in love with each other or not forms the major crux of the serial’s story.
