Sembaruthi fame Kathirvel, popularly known as VJ Kathir, tied the knot with Sindhu on August 28. Amid lockdown, their marriage at Coimbatore had only close family members and friends in attendance. Kathir - Sindhu’s match was fixed by their parents. Their engagement was held on July 28.

Vijjith got hitched to Vishva Vinothini on July 2 at a temple in Vedasandur, Dindigul District. They, too, had an arranged marriage. Initially, a grand wedding was planned at the end of April. But, it got delayed due to the pandemic. Later, the families decided to proceed with the wedding and it was held in July with close relatives and politician C. P. Radhakrishnan in attendance. Vijjith is known for his performance as Rudhran in the show 'Run'.

Bigg Boss Tamil 3 fame Vanitha Vijaykumar entered into wedlock with VFX expert-director Peter Paul on June 27. She got married in a traditional Christian wedding at Vanitha’s apartment near Porur, Chennai. Vanitha's daughters, close friends and family members attended the wedding ceremony.

Yaaradi Nee Mohini actress Deepa aka Minnal Deepa got married to H.Subramani on August 24. Their wedding was held in a simple manner at Deepa’s residence. Nakshathra, Surjith Ansary, Sreenidhi Sudarshan, Arvind Khathare, Sembaruthi fame Bharatha Naidu and others participated in the ceremony. Post divorce with her ex-hubby Ramesh, Deepa found love in Subramani again.

Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru fame Yogi got married to Soundharya in the first week of July. They have studied together in school and college. After the recent meet during the latest reunion, they expressed their love for each other. Eventually, they decided to take their relationship to the next level.
