From Trinita to Afina; Meet the finalists of Super Singer Junior 8

Super Singer Junior season 8 has reached its climax, the grand finale is set to be aired on June 26. The show started with 20 contestants and now five finalists have made it to the finale. Ahead of the grand event, here is the list of contestants who will be part of the finale.

UAE-based Afina came a long way to enter the finale of the TV show. She got selected to Team Rowdy Baby, which was mentored by KS Chitra and SP Charan.

Neha Girish was a popular talent even before entering the Super Singer Junior 8. She reached the semi-finals of Sun Singer. Neha impressed the judges by singing 'Sundari Kannal Oru Sethi' from 'Thalapathy' movie. Neha Girish was announced as the second finalist of Super Singer Junior season 8. She secured 40 marks from four judges during the first round of the semi-finals.

A short video of Krishaang singing 'Buddhi Ulla Manidharellam" by veteran actor Chandrababu, shot inside a classroom at a city school, became an internet sensation. He was soon identified by the makers, and he entered the show as a contestant. He also has a wide fan following on social media, and recently, the junior singer also impressed prominent music composers in the industry.

Rihana is not a newcomer to the Tamil singing reality show. She was seen taking part in 'Sun Singer' when she was just a toddler. This time she didn't fail to impress the judges and fans with her singing. Her performance in the devotional music round which was shared on YouTube has reached a million views and counting.

Trinita entered the contest and was part of the team 'Rowdy Baby'. Trinita managed to impress the judges right in the beginning. In fact, Shankar Mahadevan, on the very first episode of the show, predicted that she would be entering the finale. True to his words, Trinita was never in a danger zone and stepped into the finale with ease.
