Sujitha Dhanush made her debut, at the age of three, as a child artist in the Malayalam film ‘ Abbhas.’ She continued to appear in many films as a child actor, credited as Baby Suji. She made her TV debut in the serial ‘Oru Pennin Kathai' which was quite famous among the Tamil TV audience. She also won the Nandi Award for Best Child in 1987, the Asianet Television Awards in 2011, and the TV Awards for Best Supporting Actress for the daily soap Pandian Stores.
