Many television shows are getting a rerun during the lockdown phase. TV channels are airing the hit shows to keep the audience entertained.

Here's the list of fiction shows which are having a retelecast.

Chithi

Chithi is getting aired on the weekdays at the same slot, on which Chithi season 2 was aired earlier. The show premiered on December 20, 1999 and ended on November 1, 2001 after airing more than 450 episodes. Chithi featured Radikaa Sarathkumar in the dual roles of Saradha and Sakthi, Sivakumar (as Ramachandran aka "Ramu"), Subhalekha Sudhakar (as Krishna/Kannan), Yuvarani Ravindra (as Prabhavathi), Vijay Adhiraj (as Prasad) and others. It was directed by C.J. Baskar.

Thangam

Thangam serial premiered on June 29, 2009 and ended on January 25, 2013 after airing 900 episodes. Thangam featured Ramya Krishnan (as Ganga Selvakannan), Vijayakumar (as Rajaramchandra Raghunath alias Ayyaa), Seema (as Sundharavalli Naachiyar), Manju Bhargavi (as Subbulakshmi), Vandhana (as Vandhana), Anuradha (as Muttharasi), Kaveri (as Ilavan) and many others. The story of Thangam revolved around a woman (Ganga Selvakannan) and the challenges she faced in society.

Metti Oli

Metti Oli premiered on April 8, 2002 and came to a closure on October 14, 2005 after airing more than 800 episodes. Metti Oli featured Delhi Kumar (as Chidambaram), Kaveri (as Dhanalakshmi), Gayathri Shastry (as Saroja), Vanaja (as Leela), Uma Maheshwari (as Vijaya), Revathi Priya (as Bhavani), Bose Venkat (as Bose), Chetan (as Manikam), Thirumurugan (as Gopi), Rajkanth (as Ravi) and others. It was written and directed by actor/director Thirumurugan. Metti Oli was based on the life of the character Chidambaram and his five daughters. Metti Oli won many awards including Kalaimamani award from the Tamilnadu State Government.

Raja Rani

Raja Rani show premiered on May 29, 2017 and ended on July 13, 2019. Raja Rani featured Sanjeev (as Karthik), Alya Manasa (as Sembaruthi aka Semba), Rajya Lakshmi (as Lakshmi Rajasekhar), Sridevi (as Archana Amudhan), Shabnam (as Vadivambal Chandhran), Rithika (as Vinodhini Harish), Karthik Sasidharan (as Sanjay), Akshay Kamal (as Harish) and many others.

Chinna Thambi

Chinna Thambi premiered on October 2, 2017 and came to an end on June 21, 2019. It featured Prajin Padmanabhan (as Chinna Thambi), Pavani Reddy (as Nandhini), Girish (as Rathnasamy), Anila Sreekumar (as Annalakshmi), Rhema Ashok (as Malar), Shwetha Subramaniam (as Revathy), Rekha Suresh (as Shanthi), Sadhana (as Prabhavathi) and others.

Kaakkum Deivam Kali

Kaakkum Deivam Kali is the Tamil dubbed version of the Hindi serial Mahakali - Anth Hi Aarambh Hai. This show deals with Maa Kali and her powers. It featured Pooja Sharma (as Goddess Parvati), Saurabh Raj Jain (as Lord Shiva), Meghan Jadhav (as Kartikeya), Krish Chauhan (as Lord Ganesha), Kanan Malhotra (as Lord Vishnu), Nikita Sharma (as Goddess Lakshmi), Manish Bishla (as Dev-Raj Indra), Rimpi Das (as Goddess Ganga) and others.

Sangadam Theerkum Saneeswaran

The Sangadam Theerkum Saneeswaran is the Tamil dubbed version of the Hindi show Karmaphal Daata Shani. The show is based on Shani Dev. Kartikey Malviya and Rohit Khurana as Young Shani / Shanidev, Juhi Parmar (as Sandhya/Chhaya), Salil Ankola (as Suryadev), Tina Dutta (as Dhamini), Gufi Paintal (as Dev Vishwakarma), Kunal Bakshi (as Indradev), Zohaib Siddiqui (as Rahu), Tarun Khanna (as Lord Shiva), Tinu Verma (as Sage Shukracharya) and others.
