From Aari Arjuna getting movie offers to Velmurugan being honored by Tamil Nadu government: Here's how Bigg Boss Tamil 4 contestants are riding on their popularity

Bigg Boss Tamil 4, which resumed its journey last October, recently declared the winner of the season. The contestants have already starred bagging projects. From Aari Arjuna to Velmurugan, here’s how Bigg Boss proved to be a game-changer for the contestants.

Aari Arjuna was crowned as the title winner of Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 on January 17. Aari is flooded with new offers as soon as he stepped out of the house. He had already signed a movie prior to the show. Owing to Aari's successful stint in BB, the makers of the movie, featuring him and Vidya Pradeep arranged a Puja on January 19. Aari would be seen in the role of a cop in this flick. He is awaiting the release of two other movies.

Suresh Chakravarthy, who is perceived to be the most entertaining contestant in the Bigg Boss Tamil show’s history, got evicted on day 35 (on November 8). Suresh won the hearts of the audience with his naughtiness and funny nature. Earlier, Suresh acted in the Tamil movies ‘Azhagan’ and Malayalam movie ‘Prema’. Suresh also acted in some TV shows and directed a few. The fame earned in the BB show has aided him in getting many movie offers. In a recent interaction with fans, Suresh confirmed the good news.

Samyuktha Karthik aka Samyuktha Shanmuganathan got evicted on day 56 (on November 29, 2020). Within weeks of exiting the house, Samyuktha has bagged two big projects. In one movie named Tughlaq Darbar, Samyuktha will be acting with popular actor Vijay Sethupathi. She will also be seen in an untitled movie with Gautham Karthik. Samyuktha has acted in a couple of movies and in the TV show Chandralekha (as Rudhra) prior to Bigg Boss. But, BB stint has helped Samyuktha to sign two movies in a short span. (Photo - Instagram)

Prior to his entry into the BB house, Aajeedh Khalique was the winner of the Super Singer season 3 show. In spite of becoming a playback singer, he wasn’t this popular among the audience. During the BB 4 grand finale event, Aajeedh said that he is receiving praises from everyone. He got evicted on day 70. In the time gap between his eviction and re-entry into the house, he even recorded for a song in an upcoming movie after a long gap. He is very happy about it.

During the interaction with Kamal Haasan in BB 4 grand finale, folk singer and playback singer Dr. Velmurugan shared a good news. Velmurugan said that he has been appointed as a member of the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram, (A unit of Directorate of Art & Culture) by the Government of Tamil Nadu. He feels honored to be recognised at such a young age for his contribution to folk music and culture.

Actor and Mr. India title winner Balaji Murugadoss said during the show premiere that he is entering the show to gain recognition than anything else. By projecting his real nature, he became the runner up of the BB 4 show. In one of the recent interviews, Balaji said that he is receiving many movie offers after Bigg Boss. He is reading scripts and yet to sign a project.
