Bigg Boss Tamil 4: From Oviya to Kavin; a look at what popular ex-contestants are doing now

Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 will kickstart in a few days time. Like earlier seasons, Kamal Haasan would be hosting this season also. The last three seasons have seen many popular contestants from Oviya to Kavin light up the screens. Here's a look at what these most famous contestants are up to now.

Actor Ganesh Venkatram from Bigg Boss Tamil 1 was one of the most favorite contestants for his impressive behaviour. Post his exit from the show, he has hosted ‘Action Superstars’ an adventure based reality show, which featured only female contestants. Ganesh has acted in a couple of movies and in 2020, he made his Bollywood debut with the project titled ‘Guns of Banaras’. On the personal front, the happy married family man Ganesh and his wife Nisha were blessed with a beautiful baby Samaira on June 19, 2019.

Bigg Boss Tamil 1 finalist and first runner up Snehan became famous for his ‘Give a hug’ kind of mannerism in the show. Snehan is known for his multifaceted talents of being a poet, lyricist, actor, playback singer and writer. Snehan associated himself closely with the actor and politician Kamal Haasan and joined his party. Now, Snehan serves as the executive committee member in the party launched by Kamal in February 2018.

Oviya, otherwise known as Helen Nelson became the darling of the masses for her natural, realistic and carefree attitude in the Bigg Boss Tamil 1 show. In spite of her not advancing to the final rounds of the show and instead exiting the show midway, she enjoys a huge fan following even now. She has acted in a few movies in Tamil and Malayalam. Oviya made her debut as a singer in the movie ‘90 ML’ by singing the song ‘Marana Matta’.

Actress Gayathri Raghuram was one of the most controversial contestants in BB Tamil 1. Post her exit, she became the judge of the reality show Mrs. Chinnathirai. Later she got busy with her career in choreography. In 2020, Gayathri made her debut as a director of ‘Yaadhumagi Nindraai’ and also featured in it. At present, Gayathri is busy in politics (as the state president of the cultural wing of Tamil Nadu BJP).

Actor Arav, also known as Nafeez Arav, emerged as the title winner of Bigg Boss Tamil 1. Arav has featured in a couple of movies. On the personal front, Arav married actress Raheei a few weeks ago on September 6.

Actor Harish Kalyan made his entry into the Bigg Boss Tamil 1 show as a wild card contestant. But, he went on to become one of the finalists and ended up as the second runner up of the show. He cashed in on the popularity gained in the show and has acted in almost 6 movies in a few years' time. He indulges in social service.

Mahat Raghavendra was one of the most controversial contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil 2. Post his exit from the show, Mahat became the judge of reality show Jodi Unlimited and Dancing Super Stars. He has acted in a few movies and some are under production now. One of Mahat’s upcoming movies features his former housemate Yashika Anand in it. On the personal front, Mahat tied the knot to his longtime girlfriend Prachi Mishra in January 2020.

Actress Yashika Anand from season 2 of Bigg Boss Tamil 2 remains one of the fittest actresses. Though she exited the show just a few days before the grand finale, she enjoys a good fan following. Yashika has been the judge and team leader of the show Jodi season 10. She is also busy with her career in movies.

Actress Aishwarya Dutta, who was one of the finalists of the Bigg Boss Tamil 2, ended up as the first runner-up. She is acting in multiple movie projects back to back.

Kavin, otherwise Known as Kavin Raj, was one of the most loved contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil 3. He walked out of the show voluntarily, just a few days before the show's finale. Kavin is awaiting the release of the upcoming venture ‘Lift’, which got postponed due to lockdown. At present, he is working as an assistant director for the movie ‘Doctor’.

Losliya Mariyanesan, the news reader from Sri Lanka, was among the most famous contestants of the Bigg Boss Tamil 3. She became the second runner up. The charming Losliya is all set to make her silver screen debut along with former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh in the movie ‘Friendship’. She will also be seen in another movie with Aari Arjuna.

Choreographer Sandy Master, one of the finalists of the Bigg Boss Tamil 3 show, emerged as the first runner up. He impressed the audience with his good sense of humor and dancing skills. He is busy with his career as a choreographer. In the recent past, Sandy got the opportunity to choreograph his favorite actor and host Kamal Haasan for the promo video of Bigg Boss Tamil 4.

Singer and actor Mugen Rao from Malaysia emerged as the title winner of the Bigg Boss Tamil 3 show. He has done a few cover albums over the past few months.
