Oviya-Arav’s controversial 'medicinal kiss'
Bigg Boss Tamil 1 fame Oviya and Arav shared a close rapport in the house. Rumour mills had it that Oviya was head over heels in love with Arav but the latter gave her a cold shoulder which was also one of her reasons to quit the show mid-way. After her exit, Arav even admitted to kissing her just to help her calm down. This controversial confession raised many eyebrows and host Kamal Haasan took a jibe at Arav saying he never heard of a 'medicinal kiss'.
Oviya’s exit from the show
Oviya, who wanted to leave the BB house, after a prolonged fight with Arav, even jumped into the pool. Finally, she quit the show on medical grounds.
Bharani's attempt to escape the BB house
Bigg Boss Tamil 1 fame Bharani was eliminated from the show as he tried to escape the BB house by jumping off the wall. He was mentally strained due to the treatment of the housemates. His exit sparked a controversy with the viewers slamming the contestants for their inappropriate behaviour towards Bharani.
Mahat's controversial equation with Yashika
Yashika Anand's confession of her feelings for Mahat in Bigg Boss Telugu 2 created a stir as he was in a relationship with Prachi Mishra in real life. Mahat later put the rumours to rest by getting married to Prachi Mishra.
Aishwarya throwing garbage on Bhalajie
During one of the tasks, Bigg Boss Tamil 2 contestant Aishwarya Dutta threw garbage on her co-contestant Thadi Bhalajie as he didn’t obey her words. This didn’t go well with Bhalajie and the audience as well. Aishwarya's behaviour received flak on social media.
Madhumitha’s controversial views on Cauvery waters and subsequent self-harm
Bigg Boss Tamil 3 contestant Madhumitha criticised other contestants claiming their clothes and behaviour was against Tamil culture. In one of the tasks, Madhumitha expressed her views on the Cauvery water dispute which turned controversial. She eventually indulged in self-harm in order to prove her commitment towards her views. This resulted in her eventual eviction from the show.
Cops visit the BB house
Bigg Boss Tamil 3 fame Vanitha Vijayakumar was unarguably one of the most controversial contestants of the season. Based on the complaint filed by her ex-husband under charges of kidnapping her daughter, cops visited her in the BB house for questioning.
Saravanan’s shocking confession of molesting women in crowded buses
Saravanan made a shocking confession in one of the weekend episodes of Bigg Boss Tamil 3. He disclosed that he had the habit of molesting women in crowded buses. These controversial remarks created a huge uproar following which he was eliminated from the show.
Sherin-Tharshan's controversial equation
Bigg Boss Tamil 3 fame Sherin Shringar and Tharshan Thiyagarajah shared a great rapport. Vanitha alleged that Sherin and Tharshan had an 'affair'. Sherin got offended by Vanitha's remarks. This turned into a huge fight between Sherin and Vanitha. Tharshan's alleged girlfriend Sanam Shetty also shared her concerns over their concerns.
