Urging fans to maintain social distancing during Diwali to advising them to control financial expenses; here's how Marathi actors celebrate Diwali this year

The pandemic has affected the celebration but not the enthusiasm of everyone. Sharing positive quotes on the same, Marathi actors like Rutuja Bagwe, Pratiksha Lonkar and others are urging fans to celebrate the festival of lights by keeping in mind the responsibilities. Take a look

Rutuja Bagwe

I feel Diwali is a festival of lights, shine, and togetherness. Diwali means celebrating the festival with our closed ones and family. This year we have to celebrate the festival by maintaining the social distance. Diwali itself indicates that we should bring positivity and shine in everyone's life not only with our celebration but also with our work. We have to take care of ourselves during Diwali as well as others. We shouldn't celebrate the festival by harming others. (PC - Instagram)

Pratiksha Lonkar

We all have gone through a lot during this pandemic. I feel this Diwali we should act like a responsible citizen. Many have lost their jobs and facing a major financial crisis so while spending each and every penny on unnecessary things, we all have to think twice. Whether we surely need this thing or not, we have to think responsibly now. Rather than spending money on unnecessary things during shopping, we have to help the needy and brighten up the lights of others. (PC - Instagram)

Amruta Pawar

We all are not celebrating the festivals like we used to do before but it's temporary. We are going to celebrate Diwali soon with a lot of enthusiasm. This year I am planning to celebrate the festival with my family. I am staying away from parents as a safety measure because I feel while shooting, I do get in contact with many people on an everyday basis so I should not go home every day. So if I would get a chance to meet my family then it's going to be special. (PC - Instagram)

Abhidnya Bhave

Abhidnya Bhave recently requested her fans to not burst crackers this Diwali as it harms the animals. Abhidnya wrote, "Thousands of Birds, dogs, and other animals die out of shock, fear, and accidents during Diwali. This Diwali lets spare a thought for the creatures who can not speak up. Say to no firecrackers. Please. Happy Diwali." (PC - Instagram)
