Saisha Bhoir's mother's arrest to Samir Choughule's apology to tribals, a look at Marathi TV actors who mired in controversies recently

Marathi TV child actress Saisha Bhoir made headlines for wrong reasons recently as her mother Pooja Bhoir got arrested in an alleged financial fraud case. The actress' mother is in police custody and the police are currently searching for her father who has been absconding. As per reports, Saisha's mother had duped people for Rs 3 crore and soon her assets including luxurious flat, jewellery, expensive cars and bank accounts are to be seized.

Actress Varsha Usgaonkar recently featured in an advertisement for an app selling fresh fish. The Koli community of Mumbai found the actress' statements 'demeaning' in the ad and they protested against the actress in Mumbai. Varsha later released a video on her social media page and apologised to the community for hurting their sentiments 'unintentionally."

Marathi comedy star Samir Choughule performed a comedy skit in the show Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra in which he performed the tribal community's popular dance form 'Taarpa' on stage. The actor performed the dance during the skit in a comic way, making the tribal community file a case against him. The actor met the leaders of the community and apologised to them for 'unintentionally' hurting them with his act on stage.

Former NCB officer Sameer Wankhede was recently booked by the Crime Branch for allegedly demanding Rs 25 crore as a bribe for framing Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the drugs case. Kranti, who is the wife of Samir, made headlines when she told the media that levelled against him are wrong and soon the truth will come out.

Actor Umesh Kamat's name was dragged into Raj Kundra's porn case controversy. Many media houses and websites shared pictures of Umesh and published as Raj Kundra's associate. Umesh later took legal action against the web portals and clarified that he does not even know Raj Kundra. Raj's PA has the same name.
