Shivani Baokar, who became a household name with the popular series Laagir Zala Ji, recently tested positive for COVID-19.
The
actress
informed her fans on social media that her
COVID19 test has come positive, She wrote, "Hello guys.. In spite of taking all care and precautions, I have unfortunately tested positive for COVID19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantined. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all the love and support. Please stay safe and take care."
A number of actors have tested positive for Coronavirus. Earlier, Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla actor Nikhil Raut also tested positive for COVID-19 and informed his fans.
Shivani, who was last seen in the TV show Mann Mandira Gajar Bhakticha. She hosted the show. Mann Mandira entertained the audience with its devotional concept. The main attraction of this show is the kirtankars performed by the devotees. Besides this, actress Shivani also visits various religious places of Maharashtra and explains their religious and historic significance.
On the work front, Shivani played the role of Shital in
Laagira Zala Ji
. She has also essayed the character Pallavi, a thief, in Alimili Gupchili.
