Kishor Nandlaskar

Actor Kishor Nandlaskar passed away due to coronavirus-related complications on April 20, 2021. He breathed his last at a hospital in Thane. Kishor was 80. The actor also played pivotal roles in many Marathi films and TV shows, including the Bollywood film Vaastav.

Marathi TV actress Abhilash Patil passed away due to COVID-19 complications on May 5. The actress was in her early 40s. Along with featuring in the Marathi TV shows, she got featured in the Bollywood films like Chichore, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, and Good news, and others.

​Hemant Joshi

Marathi TV show Jeev Zala Yedapisa actor Hemant Joshi, who played the character of Bhave onscreen, passed away due to COVID-19 on May 20. The 67-year old has appeared in many Marathi films and TV shows. He played several pivotal roles onscreen. Along with Jeev Zala Yedapisa, he featured in Ratris Khel Chale, Raja Ranichi G Jodi, and a few more TV shows. The seasoned actor also featured in the film Ganpya Gawde.

​Vira Sathidar

Marathi TV, film and theater and national award-winning Marathi film Court's lead actor Vira Sathidar passed away due to COVID-19. The veteran actor had tested positive for COVID-19 and was undergoing treatment in a hospital where he breathed his last. Actor Vira Sathidar was also an activist and social worker. The late actor grabbed everyone's eyeballs with his strong performance.

​Ashalata Wabgaokar

Veteran Marathi actress Ashalata Wabgaokar had tested positive for COVID-19 while working on the set of Aai Mazi Kalubai. The actress succumbed to COVID-19 in a hospital in Kolhapur. The 83-year-old veteran actress had been admitted to the hospital after testing positive and was under medical observation. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated suddenly, and she breathed her last.
