Here are new Marathi serials to entertain TV audiences in new year

2021 started with lots of hopes from the new year. While there were many ups and downs, what kept the everyone's mood elevated are the Marathi TV shows. After lockdown different shows were introduced and have kept audience engaged with unique and interesting story lines. In the new year, along with hopes different TV shows like Kay Ghadala Tya Rati, ChandaneShimpit Jashi, Sun Sasu Sun, SakkheShejari and Yeu Kashi Tashi Mi Nandayala among others are set to entertain audience. Here’s everything you want to know about these TV serials.

​Kay Ghadala Tya Ratri

Recently started airing, the new show ‘Kay Ghadala Tya Ratri’ has already gripped the audience with its interesting storyline. Story of the TV serial revolves around a death of popular actor. While prima facie it seems a death by suicide but cops are suspecting murder and investigating various possibilities. They call friends and family members are under lens of the cops. With this show actress Mansi Salvi has made a comeback after 13 years on Marathi television. Mansi has previously played pivotal roles in TV shows like ‘Saudamini’ and ‘Nupur’. She also played Shubhra's role in the popular series 'Asambhav'. She has shown honest IPS officer investigating the case. The show also features Smita Gondkar and Sushant Shelar among others.

​Sun Sasu Sun

Revolving around an interesting relationship called Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, Sun Sasu Sun will be hosted by popular actor Pushkar Shrotri. In this upcoming show he will be highlighting different aspects of the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Though there is no dearth of shows based on the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, the makers of this upcoming show promise to make the show which will break the stereotyped representation of the relationship. He will bringout how the relationship doesn't only revolve around revenge and drama but also nurture interesting and strong bond between two individuals.

​Chandane Shimpit Jashi

After successful television entry with show ‘Mrs. Mukhyamantri’ actress Amruta Dhongadeis seen in an interesting role in show ‘ChandaneShimpit Jashi’. Amruta is playing the character of Charu, who manages her entire household single-handedly. With aim to have own car showroom, she is putting her efforts into garage by working as a mechanic and earning bread and butter for her family which includes alcoholic father and unemployed brothers. She doesn't want the household responsibilities to affect her dream. Charu aspires to achieve her goals and make sure that her brothers complete their education.

​Yeu Kashi Tashi Mi Nandayala

With this show actress Shubhangi Gokhale will be seen on TV after a long time. Shubhangi playing mother-in-law along with Anvita Phaltankar as a daughter-in-law makes a strong cast for the upcoming show.The show will also feature Shalva Kinjawadekar, who was earlier seen playing lead roles in Marathi films like Hunterrr (2015), Made in Heaven (2019) and Ek Sangaychay (2018). Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla is going to be his debut TV show as a lead.

​Sakkhe Shejari

With Chinmay Udgirkar as a host, the most awaited family show ‘SakkheShejari’ is all set to launch soon. Earlier the show was about to launch in June 2020, but due to the lockdown, it got postponed and now it will be aired in this month. The makers recently launched a teaser. In the teaser of ‘SakkheShejari’, the host visits the homemakers across Maharashtra and challenges them to play a series of fun games.
