The special episode entertained the viewers and brought a big smile to the faces of everyone during the entire episode. In the special episode, Nana shared many unknown stories of his life, his respect for Naseeruddin Shah, and much more. Take a look.

Reason for entering the quiz show

There is a reason due to which Nana Patekar decided to participate in Kon Honaar Crorepati. When the host of the show Sachin Khedekar asked Nana about the same, the latter said that he wanted to play for himself. Also, Nana pulled host Sachin Khedekar's leg saying he wants to buy a suit like him.

Audience as companion

Sachin later asked Nana about his companion on the show, and the latter's reply won the audience's hearts. Nana said, "Who wants a companion when the entire audience is with me." Nana's answer received a huge applaud from the studio audience.

An actor's life is unbelievable"

While talking about the acting and an actor's life, Nana said, "Acting or a character should instill in you otherwise, there is no point. Also, infusing a character and then letting it go are equally important because you have to infuse another character after some time. An actor's life is extraordinary. You sometimes even don't know which is own your pleasure and which is your pain. When the audience does not accept you and you decide to spend your time with family and then they also feel uncomfortable because they don't have a habit of seeing you at home. This is actor's life."

5/7

Respect for Naseeruddin Shah

Nana got nostalgic and spoke about 'A Wednesday'. Nana said, "I was about to play the role of Naseeruddin Shah in the film and Naseeruddin Shah was about to play Anupam Kher's character as police. But there are disgusting rumors about me that I scream on the set and hit people and the director of the film Neeraj Pandey felt the same and he didn't offer me the role (he laughed). But it's fine and Naseerudding played it very well. Naseer and me are contemparory. Naseer and I have a difference of two to three years. Naseer always used to get good roles and I used to feel what is lacking in me that he gets such good roles. Because play and theatre were my hobbies but it was a passion for Naseer, so the difference will always be there. It is hard for me to reach his level." The host of the show Sachin Khedekar praised Nana for his courage in showing respect to a notable actor like Naseeruddin Shah.

On Marathi play 'Purush'

Nana Patekar and Reema Lagoo won millions of hearts with their Marathi play 'Purush' Talking about it, Nana said, "Purush play has given me a lot in my life including money. I have done that play for 16 years because I was getting more money. I had to buy a house, a car, and many other things. This is the tendency of a human that we want more. I got my first job when I was in 9th standard, and I used to get 35 Rs with one time lunch. I realized the meaning of hunger, I know what hunger is, which is why I always hate wasting food.

7/7

Funny childhood memories

Nana shared his childhood memories on the show and said, "I spend my 1st to 6th standard in Alibaug, Murud Janjira. My mother used to send me to her sister's place, who used to live in Alibaug so that I can change and behave well with my maasi's kids. Next year, In 7th standard, my maasi sent me back to Mumbai so that her children will not get spoil." The host of the show Sachi Khedekar and the audience laughed hard and enjoyed the special episode.
