​Bharat Ganeshpure shares about theft of his mobile phone; alerts fans

'Chala Hawa Yeu Dya' fame Bharat Ganeshpure reportedly lost his mobile phone recently. As per the latest reports, he was looted by a mob on the Western Express Highway in Kandivali (Mumbai suburbs). The actor shared a video on his Facebook handle narrating the entire incident. The noted comedian has filed a police complaint and the police have assured help, too. In the video, he further urged fans to stay vigilant while traveling especially at traffic signals. (PC - Instagram)

​Prasad Khandekar gets looted

Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra fame Prasad Khandekar also reacted to Bharat Ganeshpur's incident and recounted how he was also looted. Prasad stated, "The same incident happened to me on the Borivali West highway. The looting technique was also the same. The first knock on the glass of your car then try to rob. ​Aashutosh Bhakre's suicide

Marathi actor Aashutosh Bhakre (32) died by suicide on Wednesday (July 29) and this news has left the TV fraternity shocked. Aashutosh was the husband of Marathi actress Mayuri Deshmukh who rose to fame with the TV show Khulta Kali Khulena. Though the reason behind Bhakre's suicide is still unclear, the family has not blamed anyone for his demise. Reportedly, Aashutosh was fighting with depression from the past couple of months and also under medication for the same. Isha Keskar quits Mazhya Navryachi Bayko

Actress Isha Keskar, who was playing the character of Shanaya in Mazhya Navryachi Bayko, quit the show mid-away for medical reasons. The actress reportedly decided to quit the show due to recurring fever and later found out that it was due to her wisdom tooth. One of the longest-running Indian TV shows 'Char Divas Sasuche' will have a rerun soon. The Limca Book of World Records holder with over 3200 episodes was launched in November, 2001 and ended on January, 2013. Now, after 7 years, the show is surprising to the audience with its rerun soon. Veteran actress Rohini Hattangadi played the character of a strict yet loving mother-in-law Ashalata Deshmukh, whereas Kavita Lad-Medhekar played the role of Anuradha. ​Director Kedar Shinde’s controversial take on 'Warrior Granny's supporters

A video of 85-year-old Shantabai Pawar, who is performing stunning martial art stunts with sticks on Pune's streets to earn a living went viral on social media. However, while helping her financially, many people shot videos and even asked her to perform the same task again. Sharing her views on the same, Marathi TV and film director Kedar Shinde called this a 'Shameful' behavior. The director said on Twitter, "That granny's video is going viral on social media. Help is being announced all around. Some reach out to her immediately and help. We must do but making a video while helping her and telling the Grandma to do the same thing again. How composite is that? We should be ashamed! #Grandmother #Shantabai_Panwar.” Shantabai Pawar, who is popularly known as 'Warrior Granny', is performing stunts to support orphaned children.
