Exclusive: Suruchi Adarkar on resuming work after marriage with Piyush Ranade: Getting a special role in Satvya Mulichi Satvi Mulgi immediately after the wedding is a blessing

Suruchi Adarkar, well-known for her acting prowess, recently shared her joy about returning to work after tying the knot with Piyush Ranade. Suruchi bagged a pivotal role in the show Satvya Mulichi Satvi Mulgi as Virochakachi Savali. In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, she expressed gratitude for getting a special role immediately after her wedding, considering it a true blessing.

Talking about playing the role of a Naagin, Suruchi said, "My look is very different from the roles I have played before. I have never played such a role. This is something I never imagined. I was very excited when I got to know that I would be playing a Naagin in the show, and this character needs many variations in characterization and looks."

Suruchi revealed that she was excited to embrace the new look on screen. She said, "I already knew that there would be many shades to my character in Saatvya Mulichi Saatvi Mulgi. I knew that I would not have a normal look. I will be using blue contact lenses, and my hair and makeup will be completely different. I was very excited, and I am now more excited to surprise fans and viewers."

Talking about how her husband, Piyush Ranade, reacted to seeing her promo for the show. She said, "Piyush liked it. Generally, me and Piyush do not discuss much about our professional work. He saw my promo, and he liked it. He liked that I accepted such a unique role in my career."

When asked about how Suruchi's life has changed after marriage, Suruchi said, "Yes. There are many things that have changed after marriage. Earlier, I would finish my shoot and reach home, and mom would take care of everything. Now, I have to take care of everything. My husband, Piyush, is a great support to me, and we share our household work. Now, I do bring groceries home and handle some household chores. So these are changes."

"I am enjoying my marital phase right now. I am considering this one of the best phases of life. I got this project immediately, and I consider this a blessing."
