Sur Nava Dhyas Nava's recent season concluded, and contestant Gopal Gawande lifted the trophy of the season. Gopal, who emerged as the winner of the season, spoke exclusively to ETimes TV and shared her happiness. Gopal also spoke about the hardships and efforts he put in to get the trophy of the season.

​Emerged as the winner​

Talking about emerging as the winner, Gopal said, "I could not believe it at first when the judges Avadhoot Gupte and Mahesh Kale sir took my name as the winner. They also asked me later, Do you believe you are the winner? I was surprised and stunned."

​Leaving job for Sur Nava Dhyas Nava​

Gopal further stated that he worked hard to reach the competition. He said, "I was doing a job before participating in the reality show. Later, I decided that if I wanted to foray into my career in singing, then I had to leave the job. I left the job to participate in the show. My family also supported me throughout this and showed faith in me."

​Celebration in Akola​

Gopal revealed how the celebration is happening in Akola, his native place, and he said, "Since I have reached Akola, people are praising me for bringing the trophy to the city. They are lifting my trophy and looking at it proudly. My trophy has not been with me alone. It is circulating, and everyone is eager to see it."

​Winning amount​

When asked about what Gopal would do with the winning amount, he said, "I have not thought about it yet but will definitely use the money for music only. I will spend the money on music and something related to it."

​Never thought about winning the competition​

Gopal later concluded the interview, saying he never thought that he would ever win the competition. He said, "I never aimed to get the trophy. My aim was to perform better each and every day with hard work. More than that, I got Mahesh Kale sir as my guru, and what else could I have asked for? I am mesmerized and stunned."
