Exclusive: "I love everything about Shiv Thakare" says Bigg Boss Marathi fame Veena Jagtap

Bigg Boss winner Shiv Thakare and ‘Radha Prem Rangi Rangali’ fame Veena Jagtap spent some quality time with each other in the house of Bigg Boss Marathi. The couple won any hearts with their sizzling chemistry. The fans are going gaga over this fresh pair. Talking about the Bigg Boss journey Veena said, “We were not acting in Bigg Boss. People used to call our relationship as a ‘publicity stunt’ but now they are seeing the truth. It’s been 6 months now and nothing has changed. I should not discuss more this because everyone can see our relationship is getting stronger day by day. After Bigg Boss, the real journey started. We are doing shows and events together. I don’t feel alone when I attend an event individually because the moment I reach the event, people ask me about Shiv. Talking about the same, Shiv said, “People were right because they think contestants do such ‘Jugaad’ to get fame in a reality show. But that was not in my case. Our show was limited to Maharashtra because it was a Marathi Bigg Boss. If people are attaching my name with someone then automatically it affects my family as well. Veena was already a star because she had already done a hit daily soap and I had also done Roadies. So we already had everything and there was no need to do such things to get into the limelight. We have always thought before doing anything because it was Marathi Bigg Boss. We enjoyed the journey of 100 days. We never knew that people love us so much. Talking about the funny incident, Shiv said, “We reached the shoot location at 8 am and we got ready. This was my first album because I have done reality shows before. Veena has experienced it before. We were having masti like always. When the director asked me to face the camera and said Lights, camera, Action, Veena was looking cute and giving the perfect expressions. I used to look at the right side or left side. The crew told me to be stable but when the camera shifted and the director asked me what happened, I told him that you itself told me to stay stable. They used to give expression like ‘Ye Kahase Aaya Hai yaar’ (Laughs). (PC - Instagram) by Vaishnavi Gavankar

Talking about the experience while shooting with Shiv, Veena said, “If shiv was not there then I could not have enjoyed the video. Just because of him we had so much fun. From makeup to pack up, Shiv enjoyed a lot. We were trying different outfits. Shiv used to change his outfits and take my advice in every 5 mins. The crew also teased us saying ‘Hero is too cute’. Veena helps Shiv off-screen to make his shot perfect. Shiv explained, “Veena has done ‘Radha prem rangi rangali’. She taught me the technicalities of the shoot. I wasn't much aware of the technical parts of lightings. When Veena used to come in between my lights, I used to get conscious and inform the crew that Veena is covering my light (Laughs). Shiv Thakare recently lost his phone while attending an event, Shiv said, “When I lost my phone Veena was with me. We fought together, we were not talking to each other. We reached the police station at midnight and there was a birthday celebration going on. They recognized us and called us to cut the cake as I was not in the mood because my phone was lost (Laughs). Veena was also tensed. They helped us and showed us the CCTV footage. She went to her house and I went to my house. The Bigg Boss co-contestant of Shiv and Veena, Kishori Shahane visited Shiv’s Amravati’s house. Talking about the experience, “My mom respects Kishori Tai. Kishori Tai is like a goddess to her. Earlier, I had informed my mom that Kishori Tai is coming and she will be there for 15 mins but she is my mom. She called everyone at my home and made an Amravati style Puran Poli for her. Veena Jagtap and Shiv Thakare’s relationship is quite interesting. Veena said, "I love everything about Shiv. He is grounded. We see people get so much of attitude after becoming successful but Shiv’s case is different. I would say he has become more grounded now. Veena loves everything about shiv but she has some complains too. Talking about it, Veena said, “Shiv receives everyone’s calls. Shiv never hurts anyone. I like the way he treats children but one thing I don’ like about Shiv is, he gives cash to everyone. I feel it’s better to serve food to needy people rather than giving cash. I always convince him because there are so many people who can take advantage of his simple nature. You can’t make everyone happy at the same time. Everyone shares their problem with him and he listens to everyone. I would not say that I don’t like this thing about him but I do get hurt because of this.” - Vaishnavi Gavankar

Talking about Valentine’s day plans. Shiv said, “We do celebrate Valentine’s Day every day but this time we have work. Veena also had an audition and I also had a meeting.
