Exclusive - Fans started celebrating my birthday month; they inspire me to be a better person: Birthday girl Rupali Bhosle
Aai Kuthe Kay Karte actress and Bigg Boss Marathi fame Rupali Bhosle is turning a year older today (December 29). The actress enjoys a huge fan base on social media and her performance as Sanjana from Aai Kuthe Kay Karte has won laurels. Interestingly, Rupali has been receiving gifts from the beginning of this month and is now overwhelmed by the unconditional love and support of fans.
Rupali exclusively spoke to ETimes TV on the occasion and thanked everyone who is making her birthday a memorable one.
Talking about the 'extended family', Rupail said, "I should not call them 'fans'; they are more like an extended family for me. Extended family because whenever I am happy or sad, it's not only my family who gets affected by the incidents but also my fans. They have always been so generous to support me through the thick and thin of my life. I feel very grateful to have their support."
Rupali feels blessed when fans stand behind her firmly. She said, "I am so proud that I have such a huge, sweet, and supportive fan base that even though we might not have met in person, they support me like one of their own. And I am amused by this unconditional love towards me just by watching me on the screen. I have immense respect for them that I firmly believe they are an integral part of any artist's life and that their support can mold an actor's life beautifully. Be it boosting my morale in my battle against trolls or hitting back at indecorous comments; they always support me."
Talking about receiving cakes and sweets from fans from the beginning of this month, Rupali Bhosle said, "Even though my birthday is today (December 29), my fans have started sending me bouquets, cakes, and other sweet gifts from the beginning of the month. Not only this warms me up, it makes me emotional, too. I really respect their kindness, admiration, and also this compassionate altruism inspires me to be a better version of myself each time I get to play any role on screen. These fans also have taught me that such kind of selfless and unconditional love still exists, and we can love someone without even seeing them even once in a lifetime. That itself is a superb feeling, and I am grateful and happy to have them in my life."
