Dakkhancha Raja Jyotiba to launch soon; Here's all you need to know about the show
After the success of TV shows like Jai Malhar, Prem Poison Panga, Shri Gurudev Datta, and Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta, producer-director Mahesh Kothare is all set to launch yet another devotional TV show Dakkhancha Raja Jotiba. The makers of the show as of late performed Bhumi Pujan on the set. The show is going to air soon and here's all you need to know about the show
Vishal Nikam as Jyotiba
Actor Vishal Nikam is not a familiar face to the audience. Interestingly, the actor has worked hard to portray lord Jyotiba on-screen. Reportedly, the actor also gained 20kgs for his role and all set to surprise the audience with his new look. (PC - Source)
Shooting at Kolhapur
The entire shooting of the series will take place in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, where the famous lord Jyotiba's temple is located. The set of the series is built-in Kolhapur Chitranagari and the shooting of the series will start soon. Mahesh Kothare (Producer) - "Building such a grand set in Kolhapur was a challenge"
Commenting on the grandeur of the series, producer Mahesh Kothare said, "A grand set has been set up in Kolhapur for this series. The work has been going on for about a month and a half. Building such a grand set in Kolhapur was also a challenge. Art director Santosh is working day and night to build the entire team set. These include Jyotiba's palace, Mahalakshmi's palace, village, ashram, chroma floor. Many needful things had to be transported from Mumbai. Also, Nilima Kothare and Nita Khandke have done a lot of research and created costumes and jewellery for the series. We have also gone through many books while working for the series. The 'behind the scene' crew
Dr. Vitthal Bapuji Thombre is the expert advisor of this series. He has done a Ph.D. (Vidyavachaspati) in Marathi. He is well known in Maharashtra as a researcher and writer. 'Lokdaivate in Maharashtra' is the subject of his special study. His research on Jyotiba lord is soon to be published as a book. In addition, the chairman of the West Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti, Shri. Mahesh Jadhav from Kolhapur is also giving his guidance for this series. Apart from this, Swami Bal is the writer of the show and Avinash Waghmare is the director of the show. (PC -Instagram)
