Amritha Suresh was one of the most popular contestants of 2007 reality show 'Star Singer'. The singer had won million hearts with her flawless singing then.

After her reality show stint, Amritha made headlines for her wedding with actor Bala. But, unfortunately, the duo ended their marriage after 5 years. The couple, who got legally divorced last year, has a 7-year-old daughter.

After the divorce, Amritha was more active in the music industry. Her songs for Rajisha Vijayan starrer movie 'June' were widely loved by music lovers.

The former Star Singer contestant always took her sister Abhirami Suresh with her for several shoots which got her close to the team. The youngster then gained attention by imitating judge and music director Sharath. This paved the way for her TV debut.
