recently was missing from the show for a while. Speculations were rife that the actress had quit the show due to her movie projects. Uma's recent posts on social media about her ‘new steps in life’ also added fuel to the fire.
When TimesofIndia.com contacted Uma about the same, the actress rubbished the rumours.

Calling the rumours ‘baseless’, Uma said she is quite disappointed with the same. But, the actress shared that she is happy that the viewers missed her on the show and wished for her comeback.
