Soujanya to Jayashree: Young Kannada TV celebs who died by suicide

The death of Kannada TV actress Sounjanya has taken the industry by shock. The young actress died by suicide at her residence in Bengaluru and cops are still investigating the matter. This is not the first time, the untimely departure of a Kannada celeb left the industry deeply saddened. The industry lost a number of young talents in the past.

Kannada TV actress Soujanya died by suicide. According to reports, the actress hung herself to death in the confines of her apartment in Kumbalgodu, Bengaluru. The initial investigations revealed Soujanya was found hanging in her room. The police have identified that she has a tattoo on her leg as one of the marks for identification.

Kannada actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Jayashree Ramaiah was found dead at an old age and rehabilitation center in Bengaluru on January 25 afternoon. According to reports, Jayashree, who was battling depression, died by hanging herself.

Susheel Gowda reportedly died by suicide in his hometown Mandya. The actor, who was in her 30s, had acted in the TV serial Anthapura. Police are still investigating the reason behind his death.

Kannada TV actor Chandana reportedly died by suicide recently on June 3 this year. The 29-year-old actress was rushed to the hospital in Bengaluru but breathed her last even before receiving any treatment. According to the reports, she died by suicide after her boyfriend Dinesh allegedly refused to marry her.

In a shocking turn of incident, this evergreen actress was brought dead to the hospital. Reports showed that there were traces of chloroform in her body. However, the actual cause of her death is still unsolved. Rumors were rife that Hema was unhappy with her marriage; she lost in the elections, and there were allegations of prostitution against her too.
