Getting the stardom and enjoying the fame is like a dream come true to many. While some struggle hard to earn the fame, some are fortunate enough to earn the stardom with their controversies and stints they pull in the television. Here are some of the Kannada celebs who shot to fame with their stints in television.

Born and brought up in a small village in Mysore, Pratham participated in the controversial show 'Bigg Boss Kannada season 4' and emerged as the winner. His competitive spirit had created a huge buzz. His dictatorship during a task is worth a mention.

During her participation in the show, it was host Akul Balaji, who gave her the title 'Koli Ramya' as she managed to catch many chicks within a limited timespan during a task.

She made her appearance on television for the first time in a popular Kannada reality show, 'Pyate hudgeer, Halli life' season 1 and emerged as the winner. After this she bagged a lead role in the serial 'Chitte Hejje'. Naina entered the Bigg Boss Kannada season 6 as a celebrity contestant and managed to sustain in the house for about good 57 days.

Niveditha has managed to hog the limelight ever since she entered Bigg Boss Kannada season 5 as a contestant in the commoner quota. She was also the youngest candidate to enter the glasshouse. From her unique 'Kanglish' accent to her relationship status with her hubby Chandhan Shetty, Niveditha has always been mired in controversy.

Andrew aka Andy is known for his share of controversies in Bigg Boss Kannada season 6. Although he had acted in a few Kannada films earlier, he became more popular for his stints in Bigg Boss Kannada. He was often related as the 'trouble shooter of the house'.
