Jothe Jotheyalli reaches the 300 episode milestone

Popular daily soap opera Jothe Jotheyalli, which consistently topped TRP charts, has crossed 300 episodes. The serial, which has Aniruddha Jatkar, Megha Shetty, Devaiah, Shilpa Iyer, Vijayalakshmi Singh and Shivaji Rao Jadhav in lead roles, is directed by Aroor Jagadish.
The team which went on live on Facebook recently thanked viewers for supporting them through the journey. Director Aroor Jagadish said, “It is because of the audience's support and efforts of our team members that our soap opera has become successful.In future, we will entertain audiences with more twists in the plot.” The serial which went on air in September last, year is the remake of the Marathi serial Tula Pahate Re. The project stopped airing for over two months during lockdown owing to lack of fresh episodes.
In the serial, Aniruddha plays the lead character Aryavardhan who is a rich businessman. He is called Dada by his family members. He falls in love with Anu Sirimane who hails from a lower middle-class family. The serial has now reached an engrossing stage with both Aryavardhan and Anu deciding to take their relationship to the next level as Anu’s parents continue to oppose the love of Aryavardhan and Anu because of the age factor.
