Contestants of Comedy Khiladigalu enact a street play highlighting the importance of elections
Comedy Khiladigalu is currently one of the most loved and popular Kannada comedy shows premiering on television.
The contestants of Season 2 of the show decided to go beyond TV screens to entertain their audiences and took to the streets to perform a small act on the importance of elections.
The talented group of artists took the initiative to educate the civilians about the importance of casting vote for the betterment of our nation.

Clad in black costumes, the contestants took to the streets and enacted a play which had elements of song, dance and drama as well.
The judges of the show Rakshitha, Jaggesh and Yograj Bhat as well as the host Anand also shared their thoughts on the same and how every citizen needs to understand their right to vote.
The act stressed on how people had different views on voting. While a group of people emphasized it as the duty of every citizen, the others focused on how the system shall remain corrupt despite their exercising the right.

The 4-segment street play was performed across 30-35 cities and districts around
Karnataka including Bengaluru, Mandya, Davanagere, and Tumkar to name a few.
The 20-minute performance by the comedy stars addressed all categories of voter citizens, and elucidated the transformation it would create.
Furthermore, the act also stressed on the importance of choosing the right candidate along with being able to opt for the NOTA option.
The show airs every weekend at 9 PM.
