Bigg Boss Kannada OTT's evicted contestant Spoorthy Gowda

Actress Spoorthy Gowda is the second candidate to get evicted from the Bigg Boss house. The actress managed to survive inside the glasshouse for good two weeks and made her presence felt with her charm. However, her journey in the reality show was definitely not an easy one. Spoorthy had to face her own challenges to survive inside the glasshouse. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, the actress opens up about her Bigg Boss journey and much more. Excerpts...

2/9

I did get that vibe of my eviction

Initially, I was very confident about surviving inside the Bigg Boss house. But, I never thought I would get evicted this early. Although I did get that vibe that I might get evicted for not taking a stand for myself, I was looking forward to being the best contestant henceforth. Especially when Sudeep sir also spoke about the same, somewhere I did feel that I would get evicted.

The 'harsh reality' hit me hard

Initially, everything seemed very rosy inside the Bigg Boss house. But, eventually, as days passed, everyone started getting to know every one's personality. Especially in the second week inside the Bigg Boss house, the harsh reality hit me very hard. I overheard the housemates talking ill about me behind my back. This course affected me a lot.

4/9

It drained me out mentally

This was a very challenging phase for me. I knew my housemates were talking ill about me and somewhere I did feel the need to prove them wrong. And despite knowing the fact that the housemates have already created an opinion about me and staying together inside the same house was another level of challenge. I had already reached a point where I could not take it anymore. It drained me out mentally, which eventually led to a lack of self-confidence.

5/9

I usually take some time to get along with anyone

To be honest, I really could not build any rapport with the housemates. I usually take some time to get along with anyone even in my real life. So, the same happened inside the Bigg Boss house as well. I feel it's all about the comfort zone. On the other hand, there was already an opinion created about me saying that I don't make any effort to mingle with the housemates. At the same time, I also expected the contestants to approach me and build a rapport.

6/9

I feel this is where I was wrong

I lacked self-confidence which is why I am here today. Maybe I should have been adamant about my decisions inside the Bigg Boss house. I should have taken a stand for myself. I realised this when Sudeep sir also mentioned the same during the weekend episode. I did open up about not being given a fair chance to perform the tasks. But, I should have taken it up as a challenge when I had the option of participating in a particular task. Instead, I chose to just slip away. I feel this is where I was wrong.

7/9

I never prepared any strategies

Honestly, I never prepared any strategies before entering the Bigg Boss house. I just wanted to go with the flow. This was the only thought that was running through my mind. Negative or positive, I was ready to accept it and go ahead with it. I just wanted to concentrate on my journey and come out with flying colors.

8/9

I feel I let them all down

My father is a little disappointed as I got evicted soon. He did not expect me to come out of the Bigg Boss house this early. He had major expectations about my performance in the reality show. Apart from family, a lot of them also mentioned that they never expected my eviction this early. I feel I let them all down.

9/9

Fans and fandom

Little did I know I would earn so much love from the viewers. My social media is filled with supporting messages from my fan followers. There are many who rooted for me to win the reality show and enter Bigg Boss Kannada season 9. I have immense gratitude for them and want to thank them for their support.
