Bigg Boss Kannada 8: From speaking about his secret muse inside the BB house to enjoying captaincy for the second week; A look at Shamanth Gowda's journey

Digital sensation Shamanth Gowda aka Bro Gowda seems to be having an interesting inning inside the Bigg Boss house. He not only became the first captain of the season but also turned out to be everyone's favourite inside the house.

Shamanth Gowda or popularly known as Bro Gowda is also a popular social media enthusiast. The digital sensation entered Bigg Boss Kannada 8 as one of the contestants of the season.

During the season premiere, Shamanth mentioned his wish to get a picture clicked with the host Kiccha Sudeep. Fortunately, Sudeep fulfilled Shamanth's wish as he posed for the shutterbugs along with him.

During the first captaincy task, Shamanth emerged as the captain by defeating Dhanushree, Sidhi Subbiah, Nirmala Chenappa, and Shubha Poonja in the captaincy task.

Shamanth not only became the first captain of the season but is also immune from this week's nominations.

During the nomination process, the captain also had a chance to save one contestant from the danger zone. Shamanth decided to save veteran actor Shankar Ashwath from nominations by mentioning that he is the senior-most candidate and his guidance inside the Bigg Boss house is very much needed.

Just when the housemates were having a gala time putting up a play inside the Bigg Boss house, tension brewed when Prashanth Sambargi and Shamanth Gowda. Troubled brewed when Shamanth raised his voice when Prashanth kept accusing him of distracting during the skit. Prashanth claimed that Shamanth deliberately passed comments by mentioning the word 'Over-acting' during the play. Although Shamanth mentioned that it was for fun, Prashanth never really bothered about it and kept accusing the latter of the same.

Shamanth became the captain and his care for his inmates can never be missed. From looking after their needs to following the captainship norms, Shamanth has always showcased his softer side towards the co-contestants.

Although it's just the premiere week of the season, Shamanth recently revealed that he grew special feelings for his co-contestant Divya Suresh. However, he took a step backward as he could not build a great rapport with her.

The digital star created history in Bigg Boss Kannada by bagging the captaincy back to back within the first two weeks of the season. That's not all, since Shamanth became the captain, he also got immune from nominations too.
