Vandana Pathak makes her return to television after six years with Tum Se Tum Tak

Last week, we reported that Sharad Kelkar is making a comeback to television with Tum Se Tum Tak, marking his first fiction project in eight years since Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. Now, we have learnt that another popular actor, Vandana Pathak, will also join the cast of the show. She will play Sharad’s mother in the series, making her return to the small screen after six years. Her last appearance was in the same production house’s Manmohini.

A source close to the show shared, “We were eager to collaborate with Vandana again, especially after our successful association in Manmohini. We are happy that things have fallen into place, and she is now part of the cast. She will portray an intriguing character, and we want the audience to discover her role on the show instead of revealing too much at this stage.”

Produced by Prateek Sharma, Tum Se Tum Tak is a remake of the popular Marathi series Tula Pahate Re. The Hindi version will feature Niharika Chouksey as the female lead, who has appeared in shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Faltu.

Vandana Pathak has been part of many iconic TV shows, including Hum Paanch, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, Khichdi, and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She has also featured in Yeh Meri Life Hai, Main Kab Saas Banoongi, Mrs and Mr Sharma Allahabadwale, RK Laxman Ki Duniya, Badi Dooor Se Aaye Hain, and Savitri Devi College & Hospital. Sharad, on the other hand, has been busy with Hindi and regional cinema. The actor, who became a household name as Nahar Singh in Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar, has worked on several shows like Bhabhi, Raat Hone Ko Hai, Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Nach Baliye 2, Bairi Piya, Uttaran, and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.
