', is returning to the show after five-and-half months. About the return of her character, who is behind bars, she says, “I was told that I would return after a couple of months, but it took time to plant the re-entry. I am yet to be informed about my track, but I hope it remains negative.”

Much has been written about her being constantly at loggerheads with co-actor Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben. Dismissing it as ‘personality clash’, Pathak says, “I can’t befriend everyone. Besides, there isn’t much interaction with Rupal barring the initial few days when the story demanded it. There are so many actors and actresses, who share a great chemistry on screen, but don’t get along in real life. We are professional and exchange customary greetings. I have always shared cordial relationships with all my co-actors. I take time to open up with people, which many mistake as attitude.”

Ask her about reports of Rupal’s alleged insecurity with Vandana’s growing prominence in the show and she replies, “Well, I entered the show a year-and-a-half ago, so I don’t see any reason for insecurity. But you must ask her this.”
