As she celebrates Guru Purnima today, actor Vaishali Takkar, who will soon be seen on the show ‘Super Sisters’, believes that a great teacher can do wonders to your life. The actress says that though she doesn’t have any formal training in acting, she has learnt a great deal and practically everything about the craft, from her directors. She shares, “I never went to an acting school, but I consider all my directors as my gurus.
They are responsible for making me the actor that I am today. I owe it all to them. Right from my first show, until now, I have blindly followed every command of my director.”
The actor is immensely grateful to them for helping her achieve her dream. “I wish to thank all of them. It is because of them that I am at this position,” she adds.
Vaishali also has a few teachers, not from showbiz, whom she has learnt a lot from. "People who work hard and take the most difficult paths are my gurus. I want to thank my mother for teaching me the most important lessons in life. She has taught me to be confident and stand like a warrior even in adverse situations,” she says.
