Times when Shoaib Ibrahim hit back at trolls targeting wife Dipika Kakar’s religious and dressing choices

TV celebs are often soft targets on social media and fans don’t hesitate to ask private and personal questions. But what happens when those questions cross the line. While some choose to ignore, some give it back. Recently, Shoaib conducted a question and answer session with fans and some of them were little too private. The actor could have easily not shared their responses but he chose otherwise and gave savage replies. The questions were directed to his wife and actor Dipika Kakar’s religious and dressing choices. Here are the times when Shoaib gave a befitting reply in human spirit.

Dipika is Hindu by birth and got married into a Muslim family. Not to mention, this is also Dipika’s second marriage. But does that give anyone the right to question what religion Dipika follows? A fan asked – Please let me know wife is Hindu ya Muslim. Well, Shoaib being the supportive husband replied to this question with this, “Insaan achchi hai kya sirf itna hi kaafi nahi hai” (She is a good human, isn’t that enough?)

Dipika and Shoaib are currently observing rozas during Ramzan and the couple has been sharing some gorgeous pics in their traditional outfits. And a fan dared to ask Dipika’s choice of dressing. The question posed was: Deepika ji hamesha salwar suit me hi kyu hoti hai…kya apki family force karti hai? Shoaib answered saying, “Iska jawab main aapko dena zaruri nahi samjhta... sach main janta hoon Meri wife janti hai...baaki jaisi jiski soch waisa He uska sawaal. God bless u always. (I don’t think I need to answer your question. Me, my wife know the truth and your question shows your thinking ability).”

This time, a fan asked Shoaib when he is planning to have a baby. The fan wrote, "Aap baby KB pan karoge...Sorry ye aapki prsnl lyf he BT mera maan hua puchne ka isliye puch liya (When are you planning to have a baby...Sorry, it's your personal life but I really wanted to ask about it). To this Shoaib replied, "Jab pata hai personal hai toh phchna hi kyu (You know it's personal, so why even ask about it)." It is nice to see how Shoaib keeps his wit and also stands by Dipika all times.

During the Q and A session, Shoaib was also asked about how he handles trolls, the actor said that the trollers are idle people who have nothing to do in life and are jealous of other’s happiness and the best way to deal with them is to ignore.

Not all questions are negative, Shoaib and Dipika’s wedding has also inspired fans. Shoaib was elated to receive a fan message. When a female fan told Shoaib that she is a divorcee and his decision of marrying Dipika (who is also a divorcee) inspired a person who married her, Shoaib got overwhelmed and thanked her.

Shoaib made this revelation when a fan asked where he gets his kurta from. Shoaib’s reply: “That department is handled by Dipika and she is the one who selects the fabrics and gives them for stitching.”

Shoaib and Dipika tied the knot in February, 2018 after dating for many years. Their wedding took place at Shoaib’s hometown and it was a grand affair. Dipika and Shoaib have been giving couple goals always. From taking care of each other to support each other’s career choices, the couple also makes sure to make each other feel special all time.
