Times Bharti Sing spoke about her son Gola

Bharti Singh is stepping into a beautiful new chapter as she expects her second child with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa. While she keeps us entertained as the lively host of ‘Laughter Chefs Season 3,’ her biggest role remains being a doting mom to Lakshya, or as we all know him, 'Gola'. This duo is easily one of the most loved pairs on the internet. Whether in her vlogs or interviews, Bharti is always open about the real joys and struggles of raising him. From his healthy diet to his hilarious reaction to her pregnancy, here are times Bharti Singh got candid about life with Gola.

2/7

When she shared Gola's reaction to her second pregnancy

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Bharti shared a funny anecdote about how Gola reacted when he saw the sonogram of his future sibling. "Humne pregnancy ki news sabse pehle Gole ko di thi. We took him to the sonogram, where he heard the heartbeat. Tab usko kuch samajh nahi aaya but next 2-3 sonograms mein usko baby kaju ki tarah laga and he says ki, 'Aapke tummy mein kaju hai' (There is a cashew in your tummy)."

Bharti Singh on her son's healthy eating habits

Bharti is very strict about what Gola eats, ensuring he stays away from junk food as much as possible. In one of her vlogs, she revealed that she kept him away from sugar for a long time. "He turned 2 and a half years old and just got introduced to sweets. He was on jaggery and dates instead of sweets. He never had chocolates. We introduced dry fruits to him instead of chocolates. Whenever he asks for chocolates, we give him dry fruits... He is a daal, chawal and sabzi person."

First day of school memory

Like every mother, Bharti was a wreck on Gola’s first day of school. In her YouTube vlog, she broke down in tears, worrying about how her little one would manage without her protection. She voiced the fears every parent has—from whether he would eat to whether he could express himself if he got hurt. "Bohot mushkil hoti hai.. Kaise khayega khaana? Kisi bacche ne maar diya toh? Isse toh batana bhi nahi aata.. Kyu baccha paida karte hain hum phir rote hai? (It is so difficult.. How will he eat? What if some kid hits him? He doesn't even know how to express himself yet.. Why do we give birth and then cry?)"

Bharti Singh's life lesson for Gola

Bharti wants Gola to understand the value of money and not just rely on his parents' fame. Speaking to us once, she expressed her wish for him to work ordinary jobs when he grows up. "Main chahti hoon ki mera bachcha agar padh raha hai na toh baad main kisi coffee shop ya store main kaam kare. Apna kharcha paani nikale. Aisa nahi ki Bharti ka beta hai ya Haarsh ka beta hai toh isko toh mil hi jayega. (I want my son to work in a coffee shop or store... he should earn his own expenses. It shouldn't be that he gets everything just because he is Bharti and Haarsh's son.)"

Bhartis Singh on preparing Gola for the new baby

In a truly heartwarming vlog, Bharti sat down with Gola to prepare him for the big change coming their way. She calmly explained that he would soon have to share her love. But also, reassured him that he would always be her number one. What happened next surprised everyone. Gola showed incredible maturity, telling his mom that she should love the new baby just as much. The moment that really melted hearts, though, was when he sweetly claimed the unborn baby as his own. "Mera Beta... (My son)." (Lakshya referring to the unborn baby).

When Bharti Singh spoke about early retirement to travel with Gola

Bharti Sing has big travel plans for the future, and they involve Gola—but not necessarily her husband Haarsh! In another of her Vlogs, she joked about retiring early to travel with her son. "Main aur mera baccha fir alag alag countries ghumne jayenge. Aaj Golla 3 saal ka hai, tab 13 saal ka ho jayega. Haarsh yahan podcast kar raha hoga aur hum Switzerland mein ghum rahe honge. (My child and I will roam different countries. Haarsh will be here doing podcasts and we will be roaming in Switzerland.)"
